A Welcome and friendly group
The Southlands Photography Club is a welcoming, supportive group where photographers of all levels can connect and grow. We offer a friendly environment where members share ideas, learn together, and explore their creativity without judgment. themed practical photography session
Twice a month, the Southlands Photography Club runs practical photography nights, giving members a hands-on opportunity to practice their skills in a controlled environment. These sessions are designed to help photographers of all levels refine their techniques, experiment with different setups, and receive guidance in a supportive, structured setting.
Guest Speakers
The Southlands Photography Club regularly hosts guest speaker events, where experienced photographers and industry professionals share their insights, techniques, and creative journeys. These visits offer members a chance to learn from experts, ask questions, and gain inspiration to enhance their own photography skills.
Photography training sessions
We also host photography training evenings, focused on helping members improve their technical skills and creative approaches. Yearly photo exhibition
Our annual photo exhibition is open to submissions from all members, giving everyone a chance to showcase their work. The exhibition is also open to the public, offering a fantastic opportunity for the community to appreciate the diverse talent and creativity within the club. It’s a wonderful celebration of photography and a highlight of our year!
