London was recently named the smiliest region, in a recent survey commissioned by a dental company. Hillingdon vision reporter Sathwika visited Brunel University and asked international students if they agreed.
Rachana Combampaty, 18, a first year engineering student said, “People in London are generally happy. London is the heart of the country. Everyone would come together and vibe. And i think its the most happiest place around UK”.
Raynold a 20 year old student. “Being a huge foodie, i always loved the food at London. Its multi cuisine and food always makes me smile as wide as my burger”
Isha Parekh, 20, 2nd year computer science student. "The environment around London is quite pleasant, and there’s a lot of greenery all over. It makes me smile when I see nature.”
Harsh Singh 21, computer science. “The city of London is more technologically advanced and things we do on a daily basis are becoming more easier. For example the oyster card makes it easier to go around the city”.
Mwenya Chifuntwe 18, 1st year finance and accounting. “London is known as a smiley place city filled with friendly and diverse people. It’s always wonderful to see people cheering and smiling in a busy city such as London”.
Akhil ashok, 19, computer science. London is rich in history and architecture. Architecture is always my favourite thing to explore in a new place and London’s buildings are mesmerising.
