Teenager Fatally Stabbed in West London: Police Launch Investigation


A MURDER Investigation has been launched after a teenager was fatally stabbed in Hayes, west London.

Police were called at 1:30 PM on Friday, 24 May, to reports of a stabbing on Bourne Avenue, Hayes. Officers, along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance, arrived at the scene within minutes. Despite their extensive efforts, the victim, a 16-year-old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene.


The victim's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. A crime scene is currently in place, and as of now, no arrests have been made.


Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson, the lead for policing in Hillingdon, expressed his sorrow over the tragic incident. "I am so saddened to confirm that another teenager has lost his life to knife crime on our streets," he said. "There will be a significant policing presence in the area as homicide detectives work to trace whoever is responsible for this terrible incident. I urge you to come forward and speak to us immediately if you have information or material that can help us."

The police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has footage or images that could assist in their investigation to come forward. Witnesses are encouraged to call 101 or contact @MetCC referencing CAD 3832/24 May.


As the community grapples with this tragedy, authorities are emphasizing the importance of public cooperation to bring the perpetrator to justice.
