Between 10th and 18th December, Santa will be passing through the streets of Ickenham and North Hillingdon to spread festive cheer and raise money for Coram Life Education and London Air Ambulance.
The Tour, organised by the Rotary club of Elthorne-Hillingdon, will be different to those of previous years.
To keep Santa safe, he will sadly not able to give out sweets or provide a signature fist bump. However, he has promised to wave at every child he meets.
COVID measures also mean that Santa’s helpers will not be able to go door to door to collect money for the Rotary club’s supported charities. Instead, those who wish to support Santa’s Tour are asked to donate online through Just Giving.
This year the Rotary Club’s supported charities are Coram Life Education and the London Air Ambulance.
Coram Life Education are the leading provider of health, relationships, drugs, and wellbeing, education in the UK. Their trained Educators use interactive, evidence-based, and creative resources and methods to stimulate imagination and curiosity among the children they teach.
London Air Ambulance 'is the charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to London’s most seriously injured patients'. They serve the 10 million people who live within the M25 and treat an average of five patients a day.
