Speaking to Hillingdon vision about the album release Mitch said “Life has interesting twists and turns, and extreme highs and lows. People will see and judge you based on what you look like but there’s always something more that lies deeper under the surface, people exist in complicated layers. Approximately 10 years ago, I was a sponsored skateboarder, traveling all over the world and competing in competitions. It was an amazing time until an ankle injury changed my path. Upon my return home to England, I began to study media production. It was also during this time that my younger brother was diagnosed with leukaemia, which sent me off the rails. Several tattoos later and upon graduating from Uni, I went to work with Amazon as a videographer. You would think life would have balanced out from there but then Covid and the lockdowns began…..

“Forced to be at home, imprisoned almost. This meant that all my repressed emotions resurfaced, so I began using my guitar and writing songs as an outlet. It was a beautiful form of therapy that helped to ground me to the universe and reconnect with my inner voice. For the first time, I can honestly say that I have discovered my life’s true purpose.

By sharing my passion with others, I’m able to share, connect and receive emotions in ways that only music has the ability to do. Hopefully that will all translate into inspiring, giving back to the people and personal causes that I stand for, during my musical career I have begun to help and support other artist in collaboration with Hillingdon Vision, with our campaign #savethemusic
