Shots Fired in Yiewsley Street. Police Investigation Underway after shell casings found nearby

A SERIOUS INCIDENT INVOLVING A FIREARM BEING DISCHARGED TOOK PLACE THIS EVENING ( 23rd September) IN YIEWSLEY.



Police are investigating a suspected firearms incident that took place on Bentinck road Yiewsley. on the evening of September 23. Officers were called to the scene at 19:23 following reports of gunshots in the area.


Upon arrival, police found no injured parties or suspects at the scene. However, a vehicle was discovered to have sustained damage, and a number of shell casings were recovered.


A bus driver who declined to be named said " I was passing by when It happened, a van and car crashed, two men got out and one had a hammer. I saw 2 shots and drove away fast as it wasn't safe for my passengers."


At this early stage of the investigation, no arrests have been made. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist with inquiries.


Officers from the Metropolitan Police trident unit are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.


A police spokesperson said: "Anyone with information that can help should call 101, referencing CAD 6846/23 Sept."


This incident has raised concerns in the local community, though police have reassured residents that the situation is being thoroughly investigated.
