Innovative Food Tech Platform Launches in Hillingdon

The UK’s leading marketplace for home-cooked food, Cook my Grub, is seeking amateur and professional cooking enthusiasts to join its innovative platform in Hillingdon.

The launch of the platform in Hillingdon will provide residents with the opportunity to earn between £500 - £750 per week selling their home cooked food.

As part of Cook My Grub’s Hygiene Promise, every new chef that joins the platform is trained in allergy awareness and Hygiene Level 2, and supported with all local council registrations, providing new development and learning opportunities for local cooks.

The launch in Hillingdon is part of a major expansion drive by the brand which recently crowdfunded over £750,000 in a four week period.

The founders, Dinesh Patil and Shabbir Mookhtiar, said: “We are thrilled to be launching in Hillingdon. Our first step is finding a whole range of talented cooks that want to sell their authentic, hearty food to nearby, hungry diners. You don’t need to be a professional chef. If you’ve ever considered starting a restaurant or selling your own family recipes to others in your community, now is your chance!

We’re seeking to build healthier, happier and wealthier communities across the UK, and those who run independent artisan cafes or food trucks can get involved too, as our innovative marketplace provides a quick, easy and cost-effective route for getting your outstanding food delivered to consumers nearby.
