On Wednesday March 31, Hillingdon Women's Centre, with support from Women in the Community Network, will be hosting a free film screening of "What doesn't kill me". This will be immediately followed by a Q&A with the Film’s director Rachel Meyrick.
Hillingdon Women’s Centre say the film as “a powerful statement of why we need to
challenge Violence Against Women and Girls and systemic gender inequality”.
The film mixes intimate personal stories with hard hitting facts and platforms “frank discussions on the child custody issue with feminists, lawyers, judges, and domestic violence experts”. At the heart of the film is “86-year-old Charlotta Harrison, a survivors’ advocate who herself survived a 60-year abusive marriage”.
