Hayes and Yeading United, of the Southern League Premier Division South, have been drawn at home to face League 2’s Carlisle United in the first round of the Emirates FA cup.
The first round of the FA Cup is made up of 80 teams: all teams from League 1, all the teams from League 2, and 32 non-league teams who have made it through the qualifying stages.
Hayes and Yeading made it through to the draw by causing an upset against Wealdstone FC whom they beat 2-0 in the fourth round of qualifying on Saturday (24th).
Carlisle United currently sit 7th in League 2, three whole leagues above Hayes & Yeading whom sit 8th in the Southern League Premier South League.
