Dr who witnessed Uxbridge station stabbing incident tried to intervene

UXBRIDGE STABBING:

A MAN has been stabbed at Uxbridge Underground station this afternoon with multiple crime scenes in place.

Police were called to the incident at around 2.15pm on the 23rd of November 2022

Officers found a male with stab injuries nearby and took him for medical treatment at a nearby hospital. His injuries are not deemed life-threatening or life changing.

Dr Syreeta Charles-Cole told Hillingdon Vision how she tried to intervene until spotting the weapon.


"I was present when this happened. I tried to prevent the fight until the knife and phone dropped in front of me."


An Air Ambulance was seen landing on the roof of a nearby carpark and forensic officers where visible gathering evidence at the scenes in Uxbridge.

Footage shared online showed a crime scene set up in German Doner Kebab on High street Uxbridge, and a second video shared shows a crime scene inside Uxbridge Underground Station, police have confirmed the second scene is connected to the incident at the station.


It is believed the suspect fled to the Kebab shop in an attempt to escape after the attack took place.


A witness whole lives nearby told Hillingdon Vision that they saw a huge knife and it "made them feel sick"



British Transport police remained at Uxbridge station after the incident in order to reassure the public and prevent further offences occurring.


One man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and taken to police custody for questioning, a spokesperson for the British Transport Police (BTP) said.
