The pandemic has hit the Harlington Hospice hard. Sarah Ryder calls on people to donate.
Harlington Hospice is a community hospice working throughout the London Borough of Hillingdon. They provide services for people at the end of their lives and support families with bereavement and loss.
To keep going, they rely on income from wills and legacies, kind donations from the general public, and income from their charity shops.
Since the start of the first national lockdown, so much of their funding has been lost. This is why I have been fundraising to help them out.
To encourage people to donate, I have been doing a wide variety of daily challenges. These include an ice bath challenge, a bubble gum challenge, and the say anything challenge. More challenges will be coming next year!
