A Romantic Comedy co-written by a Bishopshalt school alumnus has been released in the UK today following Box Office topping success in Canada.
'Cup of Cheer’ tells the story of big-city journalist Mary who, while on holiday in her home town of Snowy-Heights, becomes infatuated with the owner of a struggling hot cocoa shop.
Andy Lewis, who grew up in Hillingdon and attended Bishopshalt School, co-wrote the film with director Jake Horowitz in the borough last winter.
Speaking about the film to the Hillingdon Times, Lewis said:
“I'm hoping that, given how rough this year has been, I can make my friends, family and fellow Hillingdon folk have a good laugh and feel some Christmas spirit with Cup Of Cheer”.
From today, December 7th, A Cup of Cheer can be watched in the UK on the Sky Store, Amazon, iTunes, and Virgin.
