16 Year Old Boy Stabbed On Busy Hayes Street

A 16 year old boy was stabbed yesterday (10th of December). The incident is believed to have taken place on Botwell Lane near to Specsavers.


A large police cordon was in place on scene Police where called at 5.20pm and arrived on scene to find a 16 year old boy with stab wounds. A police cordon was in place around the scene of the incident with evidence of medical treatment scattered across the scene.

The incident took place on the border of a dispersal zone, previously set up by police in response to a perceived threat of disorder or violence.

Hillingdon officers are working hard to tackle violent crime in Hillingdon and have been recently engaging with the public through recruitment stalls and the formation of new neighbourhood teams. In a statement the Metropolitan police said: "Police were called at 17:20hrs to reports of a stabbing in Botwell Lane, Hayes Town. Officers attended with London Ambulance Service paramedics and found a 16-year-old boy with stab wounds. He was taken to a west London hospital and has since been discharged. A crime scene has been established and road closures were in place. Officers have arrested a 16-year-old male nearby on suspicion of GBH.
