Southlands Photography Club & Hillingdon Vision: Independent but Connected
Southlands Photography Club is an independent charity, legally separate from Hillingdon Vision. While Hillingdon Vision sponsors the club and provides administrative support, training, and funding for certain projects, both organisations manage their own finances.

Donations made to Southlands Photography Club remain solely with the club, funding exhibitions, workshops, and charitable activities.

The trustees of Southlands Photography Club includes staff members from Hillingdon Vision, ensuring the club is run effectively while remaining a separate legal entity

Exhibitions & Competitions
Southlands Photography Club regularly hosts exhibitions and competitions, including the annual Spring Photography Exhibition at Southlands Arts Centre. This event allows members to display their work to the public, with adult entries costing just £1 per photo and free entry for school students (sponsored in memory of former club chair Richard Wynne).
Utilising Skills for Professional Media Services
Hillingdon Vision provides paid media and photography services to local businesses, charities, and individuals. When delivering these services, we often utilise Southlands Photography Club members as volunteers, offering them real-world experience while ensuring professional quality.
When Southlands Photography Club members contribute to these chargeable services:

50% of the profit goes to Hillingdon Vision to support its community initiatives.

50% of the profit is returned to Southlands Photography Club, helping fund its photography projects and activities.
This partnership allows photographers to develop their skills, gain professional experience, and contribute to both organisations' growth while ensuring transparency in financial matters.
